ABOUT
The Adum Foundation, a Florida not-for-profit corporation 501(c)(3) (status pending), is dedicated to supporting and enhancing the educational experience for every student at Kenneth E. Adum K-8 School for International Studies. Founded by passionate parent volunteers, our mission is to collaboratively work with school administrators to identify, prioritize, and fund single and multi-year projects that directly contribute to the advancement of learning at Kenneth E. Adum K-8 Magnet School for International Studies, a new public school opened in 2024 in Tampa, Florida.
Driven by the vision of our school administrators, we focus on initiatives that have a profound impact on the entire school community. Our commitment extends to the pursuit of International Baccalaureate (IB) accreditation, aligning with our goal to offer a globally recognized and rigorous educational framework.
The Adum Foundation works with the Adum Community. It exists to support the school by purchasing educational tools that the Hillsborough County School District or State cannot provide, supporting sustainable multi-year educational projects, and funding large-scale site improvements. These programs support a higher learning experience and promote extra enrichment outside the boundaries and budgets of our public school system.
Through our Annual Fund, annual Auction, and other fundraising efforts, volunteers raise funds to support the mission of the Foundation. These funds are channeled into administration-directed projects and programs, ensuring a positive and enriching learning journey for every student.
